Our philosophy is very simple — manners really do matter.
Demonstrating kindness, consideration, civility, and respect toward others makes the world a better place.
Mission
At Manners Matter, we believe the essence of good behavior should be part of our daily lives. There comes a time in every person’s life when he or she is expected to know how to behave in various social and professional situations. Our goal is to demystify etiquette and instill confidence, self-esteem, and respect for others by blending the standards of traditional etiquette with contemporary manners.

Lisa Geneser, the Founder of Manners Matter, believes that etiquette is far more than a set of rigid rules – it is a modern expression of kindness, consideration, civility, and respect. Her philosophy centers on making etiquette accessible, relevant, and confidence-building for people of all ages.
Lisa is dedicated to showing how timeless principles of good behavior adapt naturally to contemporary life, from workplace interactions to everyday use. Her goal is to demystify etiquette and empower individuals to feel poised, prepared, and comfortable in social or professional settings.
Lisa is a licensed business etiquette consultant trained by The Emily Post Institute and The Etiquette Institute by Maria Everding.
